If there's a hypersearch running, it blocks the buffer's I/O:
1. Start a long running hypersearch
2. Modify any buffer, press Save
3. The Save request gets queued and you are unable to do any other changes to this
buffer
4. Pressing "Ctrl-S" (save) again, pops up an error "Each buffer can only execute
one input/output operation at a time ..."
I've suspected the ActionHooks or Whitespace plugin to cause this, but disabling them
does not help.
Note: you can "queue a save request" for more than one buffer during the search is
taking place. When doing so, there's some short flicker in one of the 4 available
I/O threads, but the buffer's status becomes "clean" only after the Hypersearch is
finished.
