If I have a horizontal split pane (so I have 1 pane on top of another),
and the errorlist is docked on the bottom, then when it pops up, it eats space on
the bottom pane,
but the splitter location and the top-pane remain the same. Which is good.
If ErrorList is docked at the top, however, then
when it pops up, the bottom pane gets smaller, the split moves down, and the whole
top pane also is shoved down (including my cursor).
It would be nice if, when the top dockable becomes visible,
it just eats some of the top split's space instead of shoving it downwards.

Forget about horizontal splits. Even without splitting, the top dockable causes text
to jump down and up whenever it is shown/hidden. It would be nice if it didn't do
that. |
