I'd love to have the possibility to exclude certain subdirectories from a directory
search in the Search and Replace functionality. I quite often search local checkouts
of subversion or cvs and it mostly is waste of resources to search the .svn and .cvs
subdirectories as they contain metadata of the specific versioning system. ‘--exclude-dir=dir’
(Exclude directories matching the pattern dir from recursive directory searches.)
option of GNU grep can is what I imagine.
