The FileChooser on Windows in 4.2 cannot find network
shares that are not mapped to E; or another drive
letter. In general, this does not present the illusion
that a Windows user would expect. Another problem is
that the Desktop is not at the top. It's just another
directory.
If it's not obvious to you how to fix this (or if it
isn't fixed already in 4.3), holler and I may have some
new material from my next book that would be helpful
for addressing this.
