(24/34) 32 - not starting from icon

hello I have ubuntu 5.04, but I have a problem about
JEDIT, I installled it correctly, and it starts
correctly from "terminal", but when I try to use it
through its icon in Programs->developpment it doesn't
strats, can you help me?

This came up for me after installing eclipse though (which is a resource hog) I have uninstalled eclipse and reinstalled jedit, that didn't work. After many tries I realized I have to have Java 6 installed on my system to get jedit to work now. Then menu in jedit is buggy now but it starts at least. I'll just use Alt+(whatever) to access the menu.
